Carry-on extras.. of everything! - As I thank the airline gods in the sky, we have never had our luggage lost. But I know enough people who have, and I don't want to worry about having a bikini, or sundress, or make-up or anything else when I arrive in paradise. I pack an extra pair of everything in my carry-on, just in case my luggage doesn't arrive for a couple days. I don't want to interrupt my sun/sand/beer time with my man trying to find a store to stock up. And don't forget the sunscreen! My favorite is Yves Rocher SPF 30 anti-wrinkle face self-tanner with an instant lifting effect - click the awesome coupon on below (or here) and try for your self!

  1. Waterproof phone cover - A MUST! How else do you think I got the great beach/pool shots, or handsome pics of my man on a pool lounger, or better yet keeping up with my social media while sipping a cold one at the pool bar. Priorities people!

  2. Packing Cubes - I am a self-admitted packing organization freak.. true story, ask my husband ;-) But seriously, being able to keep bikinis, undies, nighties, panties (all the "ies" sounds) in separate bags helps when travelling... especially when going through the security checks where 9 times out of 10 I am pulled out of line so they can check my bags. Maybe it's a blonde thing?

  3. Cute small bags - I love my wet bikini bag so the rest of my clothes aren't wet and smelly when I get home and unpack, and my cross-body Coach bag is perfect for when we head out exploring. Plus.. it's super cute and my sexy husband bought it for me!

  4. Magazine(s) - Ya ya, I know.. who reads print anymore right? But what if your phone or tablet dies or worse, the outlet for your charger at your airplane seat is broken (happened to us!). I was saved a time or two from complete in-flight boredom, because I had brought a magazine with me. Islands Magazine is one of my favs.. I dream of beaches to and from my beach vacation.
